Installation
The storage tank is installed after the reverse osmosis system using the connectors included in the kit.
Usage
The storage tank, when used with the RO system, can compensate for any short-term peaks in clean water consumption that exceed the peak flow characteristics of the RO system. Clean water is forced out of the storage tank by the air pressure that is inside the tank between the inside of the plastic housing and the rubber diaphragm. The clean water is pumped towards the point of use without the need for additional external energy. When the pure water pressure drops below the initial pressure set point, the BWT reverse osmosis unit (all versions) starts to produce permeate to fill the storage tank. The permeate production stops when the clean water pressure set point is reached.
Safety
The material from which the elements of the storage tank BWT pressure tank are made is safe for use in food production and resistant to pressure fluctuations.
