Our water optimization systems not only prevent the formation of limescale and gypsum, but also ensure that the hardness, pH value and mineralization ratios in the water are right. For perfect coffee and tea enjoyment.
Problems in water - limescale! Solution: decarbonization
Calcium and magnesium ions (carbonate hardness) are removed from the water and exchanged for hydrogen ions.
Result:
- The scaling process in the machine reduced - no malfunctions
- Optimum/improved carbonate hardness for e.g., coffee
- Water free from foreign tastes or odors
- Always particle-free, regardless of local domestic installations
- Low and cost-effective maintenance of the machine
Problems in the water - plaster! Solution: softening / desalination
Gypsum usually forms in the machine if the water contains a lot of sulphate. Unlike lime, gypsum does not dissolve easily with acid. Gypsum is not removed from the water during decarbonization. To avoid gypsum precipitation, the calcium ions are exchanged for sodium ions. Calcium sulphate (gypsum CaSO4; poorly soluble) becomes sodium sulphate (easily soluble)
Result:
- The deposit process in the machine reduced - no malfunctions
- Sodium as a flavor carrier ensures good coffee sensory properties
- Always without any foreign taste or smell, regardless of the local water quality (smell, sensory properties)
- Always particle-free, regardless of local domestic installations
- Low maintenance of the machine
