BWT AQA Drink Care Cartridge MCS400
The new BWT filter cartridge AQA drink Magnesium Mineralized Water Care (MCS) makes it possible to filter even soft and partially softened water and enrich it with Magnesium – for YOUR perfect taste experience!
Thanks to its filter technology, which has been specially adapted for soft water applications, it can be used for water hardness ≤ 5°dH (89ppm)
Further benefits are the reduction of chlorine and heavy metals as well as the removal of bacteria and micro plastic.

PRODUCT BENEFITS
IDEAL FOR SOFT WATER
Drinking water – perfectly filtered AND mineralized with the valuable mineral magnesium, for all areas with soft water or partially softened water (water hardness ≤ 89ppm).
MINERALIZED + FILTERED
The filter removes taste-disturbing substances, such as chlorine and reduces heavy metals such as copper and lead. Further to this, the filter enriches the water with magnesium for perfect taste of hot and cold drinks – even with soft water.
ULTRAFILTRATION MEMBRANE
An integrated ultrafiltration membrane remove 99.99 % of the bacteria and reduces microplastics up to 0.001 um for hygienic safety.

WHY INTRODUCED?
In the AQA drink filter range of “Magnesium Mineralized Water” we didn’t have solution for the filtration and mineralisation of soft or partially softened water below 5° dGH. With the new AQA drink MCS400 filter we closed this gap and can provide a filter for soft water enriched with magnesium for a perfect taste experience. An adaption of our filter technology makes it possible. The filter can be installed after a BWT pearl water system or other softening system.
SUITABLE FILTER HEADS?
Filter head (12580) Magnesium Mineralizer ST 3/8″. For an accurate function of the filter, the bypass on the filter head must be set to “0”.
FILTRATION STEPS
5 filtration steps turn tap water into Magnesium Mineralized Water
- Pre-filtration: Removal of particles
- Active carbon pre-filtration: Substances responsible for taste and odor (e.g. chlorine) are removed, no oxidation of ion exchanger
- Ion exchanger: Decarbonisation and mineralisation with magnesium
- Active carbon filtration: removal of chlorine, also from bypass water
- Ultrafiltration: retention of 99.9999% of all bacteria, cryptosporidia, protozoa, microplastics, as well as natural dyes (e.g., humic acids)
