Many drinks are refined by different types of crystal-clear ice. Whether ice cubes or crushed ice, customers always expect the purest ice, without any clouding and without any foreign odours or tastes. It’s important for the user that every ice machine permanently runs fault-free, is hygienically flawless and is free of deposits, such as limescale. BWT bestico offers this dual protection, safely and for every local water quality level.
BWT bestico filter cartridges stand out thanks to a unique integrated pre-filtration process, which safely removes even large quantities of particles. In a further optimization step foreign odours and tastes (e.g. chlorine) are safely reduced using a special silver-treated layer of active carbon. Finally, dual protection against limestone deposits in the appliance is also safely achieved thanks to a special BWT polyphosphate additive. This means that not only are BWT bestico filters twice as good, they’re also very easy to use, highly efficient and compact.
